Saint poets of Bharat

In this thematic presentation we present to you, compositions of some saints from all over Bharat. Indian classical music is born out of India's ancient rich culture. Constantly adapting to the everchanging social environment, many are the saints and poets who have contributed to enrich our classical music. These took the form of Dohas, Padaas, Padhigams, Kirtanas, Thirumurais, Stotras, Abhangs, etc.

Suryashtakam

An offering to Bhagwan Surya who is an integral part of our existence. Presented in 8 different ragas its a presentation by the students of Swaraangan school, Chennai.
Suryashtakam is another production of Swaraangan school. It is a Ragamalika , musically composed and produced by Guru Lalita Sharma. Performed by the students of Swaraangan to the accompaniment of Sitar , flute and keyboard it is a fitting ode to Lord Surya.

A garland of shlokas that can be part of our everyday lives. Presented by the students of Swaraangan school for Hindustani Music(US chapter).

MadanaMohanashtakam

MadanaMohanashtakam is a beautiful ode to SriKrishna. Music has been composed by Guru Lalita Sharma for these sanskrit verses are simple and lilting.
