“Music is a vehicle to express my spiritual self; an offering to Divinity,” says Lalita Sharma, maestro in classical Carnatic and Hindustani music.

Her life has been a learning process in the two rich
Indian musical traditions, having taken the transition
from one stream of music to the other in her stride.
She is a highly acclaimed vocalist of the Mewati gharana
and star pupil of the great maestro, Pt. Jasraj.

Gifted with a rich, mellifluous voice, Lalita has an excellent command over musical diction and a deft management
of rhythm.
